Meet our Chief Medical Officer
"Skannr isn't just about booking scans faster — it's about giving patients control, reducing delays, and supporting clinicians with a simpler, smarter referral process."
With a background in surgery and experience across both NHS and private healthcare, Dr Rajeev Advani brings a clear clinical perspective to everything we do at Skannr. He understands first-hand how delays in imaging can impact decision- making, treatment timelines, and patient wellbeing. At Skannr, he leads on clinical governance and strategy, ensuring our platform is safe, effective, and genuinely improves the diagnostic journey. His dual experience in public and private systems allows him to bridge the gap between innovation and practicality — shaping a service that works for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Partnership with University of Greater Manchester
Skannr is proud to have partnered with the University of Greater Manchester's IT Department, working alongside esteemed tutors, postgraduate, and undergraduate students on cutting edge development projects. This collaboration will allow students to develop their skills and knowledge base by working alongside experienced developers on exciting projects. The team at Skannr is proud to announce that the next phase will be a joint project on emerging AI solutions to help patients find the most appropriate scan for their medical needs.
Projects like these bring together academic insight and real world application. It an honour for Skannr to be working closely and in partnership with such a prestigious academic organisation.
We were honoured to be invited to a presentation ceremony, where the student teams showcased their research, prototypes, and technical work. Their innovation, dedication, and understanding of healthcare challenges were impressive — and several ideas are already being explored for integration into Skannr.
"This collaboration reflects exactly what Skannr stands for — combining clinical insight with smart technology to solve real problems," said our Technical Officer, Asad. "Working with the University of Greater Manchester has been a fantastic step forward in that mission."
